Volunteers Stories

'I volunteered for 2 days per week to work at Cancer Support Scotland office at Gartnavel supporting the fundraising team with the organisation of local events.  The staff working at the charity made me feel very welcome and I enjoyed the cameraderie.  The team work tirelessly to improve the services offered and are very enthusiastic about the opening of the new premises which will enhance the service tremendously - this is an exciting time for all.  I was very impressed with the work carried out by the staff and their magnificent group of volunteers who contribute greatly to the success of the charity.  My experience was extremely satisfying and rewarding and I was overly impressed with the support and services which the team provides.  I wish them a very successful future, and look forward to visiting the new premises in the future.'
